- Giving out IP addresses to other posters should be a serious breach
of security.

ZIT, since I am the man with who WILHEIM shared the fact that "JoeC" has for the past three years been posting from somewhere in the Toronto region, I can testify with authority that Wil did not in fact give out any specific IP address to me.

As for why Wil "treats Joe" as he does, only Wil can answer that. I imagine some contributing factors might include "JoeC" periodically threatening other Forum members with violence and/or going on incredibly profane rants directed personally towards other forum members.
