Has nothing to do with the sh*t defense the raiders are playing.

Ehhhh....hard to say. Brock has confidence now....if Crabtree holds on and raiders extend drive and take lead.....Brock tightens up. Little things like that can change a game.

Raiders might not have been behind if not for the stupid backwards screen call. You are way off if you think that drop was the raiders biggest problem

Their D was having a decent half until the last drive. Hou got the 1st TD on a short field off INT.

When your offense can't get a 1st down it is pretty tough to hold up, especially on the road. Eventually the dam breaks.

The drop hurt. No doubt about it. Their defense hasn't been horrible. Short fields and when you can't extend drives.....you're done. Which is why the drop was significant

They also gave up a 90 yard drive. Making Osweiller look great today. Dont know what game you are watching

As usual you want to argue. The drop was not the turning point.

Houston's 1st 10 points came off short fields. Offense didn't do anything.

And they punted 4 times and gave up a long FG drive. That is their first 7 possessions.

How is that not having a decent half until the final drive? If you're offense can't get a 1st down you are going to get owned eventually.

I'm not arguing. Hard to deny my point. I think patsfan also trying to tell you it really wasn't the defense. The offense was horrendous and the drop hurt. Maybe not the turning point but certainly hurt.

Houston is helping Oakland enormously by passing downfield incomplete. Just run the ball, pick up an occasional 1st, throw an occasional screen if you want, if not Punt. Last thing they need to do is stop the clock on incompletions. I know it's conservative, and sitting on the lead, but sometimes that's the right call with a good D, and the other Offense being pathetic.

Or just find a one on one and throw it. A flag will come out most times. It's why I hate the NFL and can't understand why I punish myself watching it.

I'd keep throwing it. Might not translate to much but if they're going to have any chance next week they need to atleast try to get as much momentum/continuity on offense as they can.

It likely won't ever come into play, but why wouldn't Houston go for 2 earlier to make it 21 pts lead instead of 20.
