And repeating....

Among 44 cases with known outcome, 15 (34%) deaths were reported among adults aged ≥85 years, 20 (46%) among adults aged 65–84 years, and nine (20%) among adults aged 20–64 years. Case-fatality percentages increased with increasing age, from no deaths reported among persons aged ≤19 years to highest percentages (10%–27%) among adults aged ≥85 years (Table) (Figure 2).

Statistically insignificant. The fact of the matter is young people have about as much chance of dying of this virus as they do of winning the super lottery.

Based on what? A Chinese report on the China outbreak?

Personally, never-mind dying, i wouldn't want to get infected, sick or admitted to a hospital due to this virus, let alone put on a ventilator.

"Close to 40% of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in the U.S. are aged 20 to 54: report":

Dude, I am not going to waste any more time on this with you. If you don't like the sources I posted, find one you do like. It's more than apparent that you spend most of your waking hours trying to find as much negative stuff as you can on this (and you typically sound like the boy that cried wolf). You argue for pages with everyone because you're close minded and intellectually rigid (and thus, only look for confirmation bias). If you want to act like Chicken Little and scream the sky is falling on a daily basis, knock yourself out. It's good for a daily laugh for me. Have a nice day.

Actually, i don't. I spend hours reading to inform myself & others for our common protection (e.g. mask wearing) & look to start interesting, significant & comical topics. I've created quite a few positive & hopeful threads re COVID-19, besides others to do with humour, sports, hot chicks, etc, etc

Uh huh, and you just spending time reading only what you want to see as it's apparent, you didn't even look at what was posted on the CDC website based on your answer. Case closed.

If i knew what you were talking about i might happily admit to being "guilty as charged". It wouldn't be the first time.

Stay safe, live long & prosper.

So you ask a question. I show you the source. And then you don't read it.

Data from cases reported from 49 states, the District of Columbia, and three U.S. territories (5) to CDC during February 12–March 16 were analyzed. Cases among persons repatriated to the United States from Wuhan, China and from Japan (including patients repatriated from cruise ships) were excluded

Again, your interest is in only what you find and that's the end-all-be-all. And then you sit and argue about it for pages on in. I don't buy for a second that you spend time reading anything you didn't specifically search for with a narrative to fear monger. Officially done here Spock.

My question (posts 20 & 25) pertained to the chart you posted (post #2) which is not at that link (you posted in post #30) but the following link (that you also posted, post #21, this thread)

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-age-sex-demographics/

and which is speaking about China.
