i see it the first time -- proffy team playing like team of the streetboys. no tactic, no coach, no timeouts at the end of the game when they were -7, -9 in 2 minutes by the end of the 4th qtr. coach didn't take timeouts and no one except Baron Davis didn't try to save the game when it was still possible. very strange team with strange coach.
I think the team iq is just at fault here. They were down 4 with 4 minutes and change left, and golden state just ran alley oop and iso plays for maggette. Thornton inexplicably kept fouling him when the lob was so out of reach. I mean, people say Dunleavy's has a genius basketball mind, but his in-game adjustments have to be the all-time worst in the league. Novak got hot so Nelson put Morrow on him. Instead of running some screens for him since he's got a 5 inch advantage on morrow, they just kept feeding inside and watching zach collect some offensive fouls. Very winnable game by them and they still managed to screw it up.
last two post above are spot on...was thinking about writing my local papers about this.....clips get with in 3 with 4min and from there I blame coaching.
