ha...i remember these threads

quite amusing...he was convinced he was going to raise up from single digits

Actually, single digit with no "s".

Fred likely grabbed no more than 1.5% of the voting public in the overall state primaries from Jan-Mar

this isnt even funny anymore

Can somone besides me(being from illinois) tell me what he has done for us besides being a great self promoter. Ya know at some point someone's going to want results not the ole future remarks and how great it will be with him running the ship.

Obama on limited experiance and no major leadership heading into argueably Americas most difficult time we want to elect a guy with little experiance and whose calling card issue is race.

I dont know the ins and outs of this subject so i dont want to be bashed from here to milwaukee im trying to read up on all these issues but i cant get over the experiance factor and his past

This article is more about why he thinks Obama shouldn't win, not why he won't win. All that matters is what happens in the battleground states. And while those bullet points are fine, you gotta talk about organization, getting out the vote, voting rights, money....all that little stuff which wins and loses elections.

It's awfully hard to win you are greatly out-organized. When it comes to organization I think Obama's is first-class and McCain's is the B-squad at best.

Yawn...we heard this from Gore and then Kerry...now Bambi.

Double Yawn...the young vote really means something this time.

On election day they all stay home and pass the bong...no need to vote when its in the bag. :103631605

I never heard this at all last 2 elections. Just the opposite. Kerry's organization was impotent and Gore's team thought it was swell to distance from a popular president. Bush had the better organizations.

I found this forum by when doing a Google search for something else. But I have to stop in and put my two cents in.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Obama is an idiot! Or he thinks we are all idiots that will vote for him. He is just a Silver Tongued Devil who actually makes “Slick Willie” (Bill Clinton) look like an amateur.

He is my Senator so I feel justified in telling you these things. He has NOT done a thing since being in office. And that goes for both the Illinois and US Senates. He only won the US Senate because the Republicans had no one to run against him here in Illinois. Remember they brought in to Illinois the outsider, Alan Keys, just to have someone on the ballot against Obama. This was a real joke of a Senate race if there ever was one. Obama did not win the Senate seat because of any talent (or the lack there of); he won because no one really ran against him. Obama has no real background that qualifies him for the position he holds now, why would anyone let him be president. He wouldn’t even qualify for “dog catcher” if he had to truly compete for the position. That’s what makes this so sad, he was literally handed the Senate seat for Illinois, and now he feels “destiny is calling” him to the White House. That man has an extremely huge ego that no one can beat.

I hope and pray that everyone will see that “Obama is not qualified” for any position having to do with serving the American people. That is unless writing two books and going to Africa to explore your family roots qualifies him to be president. That’s it!! That’s all he has ever done. Then after coming back from Africa and before his announcement for his presidential running, he went on a prolonged book signing tour. This book signing tour and his trip to Africa was on our dime (taxpayer money). He was in Africa exploring his roots for over a month. And don’t try to convince me that he cares about America when he scheduled his African roots research trip at the same time the rest of America was Memorializing the fifth anniversary of 9/11? That’s right! He was just too busy finding his roots to care about the fifth anniversary of 9/11. (Remember that was a big one.) He didn’t even make a statement from Africa. And by the way, that is the same trip those pictures of him in Islamic dress were taken. He was posing in Islamic garb as America was Memorializing the fifth anniversary of 9/11. Hmmm?

And I ask you, what have you seen from him since his presidential announcement? I’ll tell you – NOTHING! So, let this be a warning to America, Don’t let the Silver Tongued Devil smooth talk you in to voting for him. For it will be a vote for a NOTHING! No! I take that back, he is too big a danger then just “a nothing”, I meant to say; Voting for Obama is voting for an end of America as we know it. And that is a guarantee; after all, he did promise amnesty to 15 to 20 million lawbreaking illegal aliens. And he wants us, the taxpayers to pay their way on top of it! He will push laws that will use our own taxes for our own destruction. And that’s JUST FOR STARTERS! (Have you ever heard the phrase “Turn around and bend over”?)

Besides Hillary is going to pull off an underhanded “Clinton type” move and steel it from Obama. (Party of cutthroats!) And to be fair I admit I will be holding my nose as I vote for McCain. This is truly a “Lesser of Evils” election this time. Lets just pray America makes it past the next four years.
