Took the words out of my mouth general, keep your locals for favorites, rip sportbooks for your underdogs.
Also, i don't like locals because i like having just an account number to get related to, instead of a face

To playersonly69.Houston for some reason has always had a bad reputation. However there are quite a few great locals in that area, that i have known for over 20 yrs

Of course, I lost today since I was so happy to lay -110 on Dallas at 3. They get their ass handed to them. Ho hum.

i haven't had one problem at all collecting from my locals accept 1 time and the reason was very understandable too because it was a holiday and he didn't have enough cash on him to pay me. but as far as the lines go with my locals is alot of them are different and some of them don't update there lines half the time so you can burn them sometimes well for example just today i got miss st. +21 earlier today with one of them and noticed the line went off at kickoff as low as 18.5 i seen.

I know, i know, that way it will take me ages to make money, but i do it for fun, and i hate loosing, and Washington is just a reminder why i stopped taking money lines

TTinco, that sucks, why don't you just take it and tell him to put it as an advance of all the money you still have to win from him

Best thing about having a local is, at least if I lose my money, I'm keeping it much closer to home, and to someone just a little bit more "honest", that doesn't change their rules as they go along to benefit themselves, much like, well, you know.......

hache, my local guy changes his rules more often than i go to the liquor store for more Old Style. I guess you have had good luck, but I think many will agree that most locals suck when you consider their hours, always getting busted, changing phone #'s, no internet. Just my opinion.

I found this game in many places Dallas -3 -110
I guess I'm in the minority with having a local out. I hate all the hassles associated with them, or at least all the ones I have dealt with.
