I am not tico, i am european but married with a tico wife, and you americans and ticos both got a lousy eating culture, but I am not sure if any americans should be talking about the farting episodes-after-eating, as the US has the most obese population in the planet, and after a couple of cokes with some taco bell or mcdonalds stuff, I guess it's time to say...
