Any psochologists out there that can tell me why poor people have kids, knowing they can't support them?

In poorer countries like Africa, Adults depends on children as workers and someone to take care of them when they get old. Considering the mortality rate, they want to pop as many as they can to beat the odds of their children dying due to illness and shit.

Countries like America, girls dont know how to say, "where can i get a fucken birth control pill" or actually believe when a man tells them, "I want you to have my baby". Ladies, the dude just want to bust in you.

I like the Catholic Church response. I would have to say the two major hardcore religions, wahabbiam and Catholicism are a major reasons we have too many kids and too much violence in history.
