Anything short of an absolute defiant and aggressive legal response by both the organization and Brady will swing my opinion to guilty guilty guilty, but I just don't see that happening

Willie is your opinion swung?

no, at the time I said that I didn't know Kraft and the team really had no recourse. His hands are tied by a contract with his partners

if I had known, then I might actually be surprised he did what he did

The Patriot organization has been the model of class and sportsmanship for as long as anyone can remember, so why would they want Brady to stain their image?

Brady will be traded before the season starts. Probably to Oakland where all the rejects go. Maybe Buffalo.

Let the Garoppolo era begin I say!

Kraft is a well - known socialist and as he ssid, he did it for the greater good of the league. Great example of how socialism works.

actually, what's really funny about all this is that nobody said that the coaches or the organization had anything to do with this. As a matter of fact, the NFL said they didn't yet they still handed out stiff penalties.

So Kraft and the organization didn't have to prove their innocence, they're just being butt fucked.

The only person being charged with wrong doing is Tom Brady, and his action to prove otherwise is going forward.

a little perspective goes a long way

Of course, Wrong yet Again. The Pats refused to make the Defalator available when Wells wanted him for a 2nd interview. They did not fully co-operate with the Investigation. They were fined appropriately, and Kraft knew it, so he backed down.

the former Buffalo Bills play-caller said Brady had to have known New England Patriots team staff were manipulating footballs.
"Oh, there's no doubt," Kelly said. "There's no way that an equipment manager in the National Football League is going to do something to the football without the greatest quarterback ever to play knowing."

[h=1]Giants co-owner John Mara thinks Tom Brady's Deflategate suspension will stand[/h]
Mara added the conspiracy of a behind-the-scenes agreement between Kraft and Goodell on a reduction for Brady's suspension "doesn't exist". In fact, Mara said he believed that Brady's appeal would not hold up and that he would serve his punishment in full.

I think Kraft is going to try and modify the commissioner's power at this point, having witnessed first hand what a big mistake he made by fighting to give the commissioner all this power.

Not really,

Mara wasn’t the first owner to stand up for Goodell since the Deflategate punishment came down, but the Big Blue boss’ comments certainly were the most vocal and detailed defense of the commissioner.

Mara said Goodell has “the overwhelming support of most of the owners” and scoffed at anyone who thinks Goodell’s job is in jeopardy — especially as a result of Deflategate.

“[Goodell is] expected to make very tough decisions,” Mara said. “Unfortunately, we’ve had a lot of cases in recent years where he’s been put on the spot, but that’s the job he was hired to do. And I think most of believe that he’s doing a good job.”

Mara also strongly defended Goodell’s right as commissioner to serve as judge, jury and executioner in disciplinary cases. The NFLPA ceded that power to Goodell in the 2011 labor battle, and Mara made it clear the owners won’t give it back without a fight.

“Having the final say-so is why you have a commissioner,” Mara said. “That’s what we bargained for, and there you have it.”

“Belichick never believed his story, from what I was told. Because they all know. Why do you think all those retired quarterbacks, the Troy Aikmans of the world — Troy Aikman is about as nice a guy as I’ve ever met in football — nobody’s backed [Brady]. Nobody, not a single guy. Why do you think that is? Because they hate Brady? No. Because they’re not stupid. They know nothing’s done with those balls that the quarterback doesn’t want done.”

Borges: ‘I'm told Belichick never believed Brady
