I was obviously kidding with the ugly rich girl. My advise would be to date the hottest chick you can get, don't give her money or buy her shit (that way if she's really after the dough, she'll leave and you'll be better off without her) and definitely cheat on her (if she cheats on you, you'll feel good about cheating on her too). The secret behind dating is to never fall in love, that way if you get dumped it won't matter that much.
Now, if you're looking to settle down, just keep the search going. There's tons of girls out there, hopefully not all of them are gold diggin sluts.
