Well I guess you passed the payup test. Keep it Stormy7777. I did very well in Finals, SHRINK payed for both. If you had risked something, like 10-1, it would be different. Thanks for standing up...Best wishes...OF

i never cared for the Pancho Sanza cigars...although some are highly rated and many see value in them for the price..
get you a box of Padron Anniversary Naturals, I prefer the Torpedoes...many will argue that the maduros are better , but i enjoy the naturals more....my favorite smoke...
your str8 forward posts \attitude is refreshing ..you owe no explanations on why you post..
good luck

To be honest 1-8, I found it overrated. Even burned uneven. But you never know unless you try. Actually the Romeo y Juliet I got from SKY were lower rated but much better. You know ratings, grain of salt. I will try the Padrons, Have heard good things about them. I do prefer maduros, but that is a personal preference. One thing with me, I just put it out there. Might make me a target, but would rather be straight than a follower.

Rob, you know me. I would never take that money. SHRINK bet, stormy donated. I do not accept donations...OF

Stormy7777, that was last free pass...I learned what you are, next time you pay, or I do...OF

I really wasn't to worried about the odds as it was only $100, plus it made for an entertaining night. I didn't bet the game in the real world, right now it's strictly bases for me.

RJ's are quality...always get a consistent smoke with RJ's ...you're right you always have to try different smokes , that's half the fun...
FWIW, CAO Brazilias are another of my favorites..rather inexpensive @ about 8 per stick, different experience with spicy, peppery notes...
All CAO's are wonderfully constructed but there is usually a love hate relationship with them, people love them or are not too fond...the CAO cameroon gets high praise, but like you say ratings smatings...I compare the cameroon to Padron anniversary on budget..but i didn't care for it, the Brasilia line however had me hooked after my first one when normally it takes a 1/2 box to really make a determination on a certain line.
cheers

1-8, you must have read my mind. One of my favorites, the CAO L Anniversery Maduro. Vintage 99. They got an additional month on the harvest and the late harvest, plus the triple stage fermentation give this dark cigar a sweet yet complex flavor. Also known as a Sopranos cigar.

Same process used on my favorite wines. The "Eisweins" or ice wines. My favorites, trokkenberenauslese, berenaulese and auslese. The Spatlese are ok, but thiose qualistat mit pradikats are the best. You just do not get them very often, as it requires a real late harvest to make the complex sugars. You can sip these fine wines and sample a cigar and they compliment each other nicely. Many wineries where I taste now sell cigars.

Humbly I admit to having a small humidor, so buying bulk is not an option. I will upgrade soon. Slowly selling my wife on this vice to replace another. I respect your knowledge and tastes, even though slightly different from mine. Obviously I like the dark wraps. If we were real life pals we could buy and trade. Thanks for all of the advice, I have much to learn...Best wishes...OF

un think I finished with a C average, not enough credits to graduate, luckily it was my counseler's fault and I had already joined the Navy, they floated the credit so I could graduate.

No, and yes. I act professional, but I am a big kid at heart, and around my kids. My family has kept me out of the pen.

Had 1 guy hit me upside the head in Spanish, when I taunted him and my arm was in an elbow cast. Sort of caught me by surprise. Japanese friend of mine put him in a full nelson and smashed his face into chalkboard. Got suspended for that one. Probably my biggest mistake in life was blowing my education for a life on the streets and gambling. When I was very young we had these state IQ tests. I think 5th grade. I was the only one retested individually. I tested genius on that test and got put into all mentally gifted classes. That was bad because I did not want to be a geek. You could get beat up just for being in those classes. And obviously none of my punk friends were there. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Being a street hood was probably the easy way out for me, as was the Navy. I blame no one but myself. It is very difficult to stay the course when all of the money was on the streets. When I was young, I just wanted to remain consistently profitable, guess nothing has changed. I apprciate your faith in my scholastic acheivements , but please do not have misplace faith. I am humbled by my own kids. My oldest son, a jr. is in advanced calc and trig. I never made it past geometry. One curious notes, almost all of my friends, very successful financially, wnet to same schools as me, same ratpack as me, no advanced education, and all are very successful. The best one drives a Michaelago. All I do at this juncture is keep my kids on the straight and narrow. I am disaster role model in that aspect...Best wishes...OF
