I heard that Kansas center Embiid will be out of the tourney. His earliest possible return could be the Sweet 16. But still doubtful. HUGE loss for Kansas. I actually gave the Jayhawks a halfway decent chance if they had him. All bets are off now.

Final Four Team that nobody is talking about is New Mexico.....Two great big players that can control the paint and 3 very legitimate scoring options/great players plus a PG that doesn't turn it over (great assist/turnover ratio and he gives those 3 scoring options the ball and fully knows his role)....That said, they've had issues in March historically in the Big Dance for some reason with some good Lobo teams and last year was just another example...One could make a very serious argument for Bairstow as most improved player in the entire country.

Arizona is huge for me... also Louisville is a close 2nd.

One of those will be national Champs

i don't see arizona winning it all.they really don't shoot the outside shot well and since ashley went out they just have not been able to play their game.early on i liked them also but not now.

louisville,an interesting team to say the least, but something is missing there.russ smith is not going to have huge days consistantly and sometimes they have a problem scoring.they don't seem as deep as they usually are,and meaning good quality players coming off the bench that can hurt you,i just don't see that there this year.as they say though, anyone can win this thing this year,i can throw 15-20 teams that have a legit shot of pulling this off,so who knows, thats why they call it MARCH MADNESS

I'm really not into posting much anymore as sometimes it seems like I just end up arguing with posters and that's such a waste of everyone's time. I miss the time when We had so many expert gamblers on this site who gave such great insights into how to make $$ gambling. Lots of fun memories of you, Mr Leasure, Bet all Sports, Xpanda, Fishead, Dante, Sharky,Coach , Woofdaddy, Blue Edwards, Gravy, VD,Fair Warning, Panther, Bruce etc etc. walking the streets of Vegas and partying until daybreak. It's always more fun posting when you visualize who you're posting to and fro. That's why the bashes were so important. I had the pleasure of spending some quality time with Xpanda and her Hubby here in Vegas during Super Bowl Sunday ! Good Luck in all you gambling etc. !!

Agree with your thoughts on Arizona. Their terrible FT shooting won't help either.

Kirk is a good decent college center but not great. He's above average.

Wichita State has some great guard play, which is nice to have in this tournament. But I have a feeling that a team with size and length and athletes will beat them. Duke is almost always a contender. But they don't have the inside presence like Embiid does for Kansas. Unfortuantely Kansas will be without Embiid. But if they can survive until the Sweet 16 he might be back. My gut feeling with Florida is the SEC wasn't quite as strong this year, and the Big 12 is a little better than people think. Arizona has had 3 losses since losing Brandon Ashley. So I have my doubts about them. Cuse best scorer is also playing hurt.

I doubt if they can win it all, but Okie State was rounding into to form again towards the end of the season before losing to Kansas in overtime in the Big 12 tournament. Smart has a much better attitude now, and now him and his teammates are wanting to finish the season on a high note after the fight with a fan controversy earlier in the season. I think if nothing else the Pokes will be a decent bet in their early head to head matchups.

sure wish i was going to be there. I am thinking about taking syr now, as the odds should be real long. buy low sell high kind of logic. the l'ville ship has sailed.
