Vlad told us in 2014 by 2018 all the good QBs would be old and retired and the only good QB in the entire world would be Andrew Luck and maybe the freshman at UCLA Josh Rosen

There is no doubt Allen has the most ability .

But ability is not everything .

Drew Brees and Tom Brady don’t have the physical skill of probably 25 other starters in this league but both are all time greats

that's true, heart and smarts matter

Drew is too short, the Chargers unloaded him for Philip Rivers. The anti Brees, a talented QB with all the tools BUTT finds a way to lose

Brady was never anybody's starter, he had to win the job. 2x in college, and then again in the pros

Both guys just keep winning, while scores of first round picks have come and gone, many going down in flames

And you're only allowed 8 options, otherwise I throw Trubisky in the mix. He could be a write-in candidate

We have a second write-in candidate, Josh Rosen

Based on the absurdity of people choosing Goff and Allen, I'm going to change my answer to Eli Manning

Mahomes or Allen for me.

Goff has Gurley to really keep defenses honest. He also has a defense and some weapons.

Trubisky?

Seriously though Goff/Mahomes/Wentz, can't go wrong with either. I am aware that's a cop out.

Gun to head I'm taking Goff. Could easily change as Mahomes body of work becomes more extensive.

It is literally amazing. He says one thing and the exact opposite happens. Every...single...time

The force is strong with this one.

Mahommes has more TDs in three games than Goff has in four.

And that's with Goff throwing 5 today.

Goff also has the best running back in the NFL to keep teams honest. Arguably the second best coach in the NFL and definitely the most talented overall supporting cast

Not sure how Goff having a good game tonight closes the door on the argument that hes better than Mahommes?

Does anyone remember Goffs first 3 NFL games? 4 TDs 3 interceptions. Lost all 3 games.

Mahommes first three games: 13 tds 0 interceptions. Three wins.

Cmon now

the sample size is statistically irrelevant, especially that "first three games" silliness

and I concur, tonight's game settles nothing

FWIW, I'm not sure any rookie ever had more offensive talent surrounding him than Mahommes does, that matters too

Well....

If these guys are going to come in here and beat their chest over ONE game, me talking about three games has more validity than that.

Especially when even after that one game Mahommes numbers are better than Goff before even suiting up this week.

Mahommes has the most tds through three weeks in NFL history.

He has a legit chance to challenge the brady 50 this year and an outside shot at Manning's record.

Amazing like last year when you said Demarius Thomas would outscore Devante Adams?

Or how I said preseason that Adam's would officially pass Jordy even with Nelson's early second round ADP?

Your narratives are stale.

Seems like you should be concerning yourself with the Cubs winning out since you bet everybody at the RX forum that they would easily smash the over..

Before sheepishly trying to talk your way out of the bets when it didnt look so good towards the end.

But yea, everything I say the complete opposite happens. It's amazing.
