Pack played their best game? Please, they had 4 fg's in the red zone, the last one being an easy dropped pass for a td that had nothing to do with the Pats defense.

Rodgers picked apart the Pats defense and they had no answer for it. Rodgers took a nap standing there looking for receivers.

What do you think the results would have been at Gillette?

I think the Pats could have won. The home field is huge in a game like this .

The Pats just aren't any other team though, especially at home. I'll take the Pats every time at home against any team. On the road, then no.

I agree. I think it would have made enough of a difference to give NE the win.

that would be the Detroit Lions? can they even compete against the "machine"?

it's almost unfair

whoop whoop whoop
I would think a "machine" could operate on the road as well as at home. Psckers are more concerned about the Seahawks than the Patriots en route to their Super Bowl title.

The Pats Super Bowl hopes took a major hit last night

I'm guessing Gronk breaks his leg this Sunday...

Of course they are, the Pats are an AFC team.

the pats held GB to 3 pts in the second half. Don't act like their defense didn't have anything to do with it.

Sorry, GB stopped themselves. Belichick had no answer for GB.

GB all day, every day at home against NE.

Just to speculate.....what do you think happens in Arizona if these two meet again?

I may not be objectionable with my opinion.

Another GB win. Sorry but field location has zero to do with a QB picking apart your secondary.
Do you think it would be a 6 point game if they meet again at the end of the year on a Nuetral field?

A few factors would come into play, but my money would go with whomever I thought would win. At this moment I would go with GB, but that's subject to change.

the Bills use GB like a dust mop
Atlanta exposes their defense

The Pats roll GB in Tempe. The only place they scare anyone is when playing at home, and even then they barely held on vs the Pats

If Gronk stays healthy, it's the year of the Patriots

Patriots have given up a TOTAL of 3 pts COMBINED in the 2nd half against the Chargers, Packers, and Dolphins.

They're defense is pretty frigging good!

"please", everyone who plays the Pats says the same thing

we couldn't finish in the red zone, why might that be?

two weeks after that game, it's pretty obvious who's more consistent.

http://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-red-zone-scoring-pct

the Pats are the highest scoring team

The Pats are eight best in points allowed, and this despite the fact that they're the highest scoring team

The Pats are ninth in red zone defense, even better than that more recently. Waiting for their D to jell hurt their defensive stats early on

The Pats are third in red zone defense the past three weeks, that being @ GB, @ SD and vs Mia

GB is 16th for the season and 31st for the last three games vs NE, vs Atl and @ Buf

the Pats are 4th in TO margin and have great special teams. The only thing they suck at is avoiding penalties, where they are among the worst for the year. Something else that's been trending for the better in recent games

I'd love to see GB in Tempe, but I think the Seahawks will represent the NFC again

and I know the Pats are no lock to get there, but I do think they're heavy favorites at this point.

and Gronk is the key, he's been missing the playoffs with injuries and they can't afford for that to happen again
