If I had to bet today or next week....would go with Alabama's running back.

Thanks Loomis.....

Do I think Henry is the best player in the country...no I do not.

Heisman is about hype and "latest" hype. Henry has been a great back for Bama and has put up
the numbers to prove it especially late in the season.

Guess I would ask the question: Is Henry a better RB than Fournette? Guessing most NFL guys would say no.

Hype favors Henry....at least today.

Vegas odds this week on the Heisman race has Watson as the second-highest odds in the nation behind only Alabama running back Derrick Henry according to the latest odds released by Bovada.Watson's odds were 7/1 last week, and now they stand at 3/1 odds as he has jumped both (odds-wise) running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Leonard Fournette in the last week. The full list of Vegas odds on potential Heisman candidates includes RB Derrick Henry (2/5), QB Deshaun Watson (3/1), RB Ezekiel Elliott (14/1), RB Leonard Fournette (14/1), QB Baker Mayfield (14/1), QB Keenan Reynolds (25/1), RB Dalvin Cook (50/1), RB Christian McCaffrey (50/1) and WR Corey Coleman (66/1).QB Baker Mayfield, QB Keenan Reynolds and RB Dalvin Cook were new additions to Bovada's betting board this week.Watson completed 24-of-35 passes for 343 yards and three touchdowns in an impressive 33-13 win over Wake Forest. He has passed for 2944 yards with 26 touchdowns and ten interceptions (QBR of 85.8) this season. He also has rushed for 642 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. In his rookie campaign, Watson completed 67.9% of his passes for 1,466 yards (10.7 per attempt) with 14 touchdowns and only two interceptions for a quarterback rating of 188.57. Another superlative is that he had a nation's best 10.7 yards per pass attempt.

I just remembered when Toby gerhart was in the same situation and finished 3rd or 4th and can't get that out my head.
I know that's unfair but it is what it is
,

McCaffery is Stanford'd all everything do everything halfback far better an all around player than Fornette.
I have McCaffery 20 to win 1000 if I took him noe at 5D 20 would only get me 140. Watch this guy
vs. ND.

Henry is a pretty fast & relatively elusive back whose main asset is his power. McCaffery is a swivel-hipped darter &
is among the fastest halfbacks in America white or black. He's a big threat as a pass catcher & whose better at running back
punts or kickoffs no one.

Derrick Henry, the next of the Alabama running backs to get picked in the top 10 and fail. That guy ran for 12K yards or so in high school.
