Maybe we can get 5 team parlay to update us on A. Jones making the Hall of Fame.....

Only reason he probably will not make the HOF is because he is part of the steroid scandal even though they have never found any evidence.

All it takes is for a baseball writer to think that he might have took them and thats good enough to leave someone out these days.

You like this thread. LOL

It would be funny if you kept bumping this up for the next 15 years and Bruce actually does hit more then Griffey.

At the expense of getting laughed at, I still think it can be done if he stays healthy.

He is becoming one of the greatest power hitters in baseball right now.

I think I started this thread before he hit his 1st career homer.
Certainly before he hit his 10th.

At 14 HR so far TY he has potential for 50 this year.

He also has the benefit of playing against pitchers who are not on steroids and also playing at the NEW CINCY ballpark which is a launching pad.....

I think he will get there by the All-star break next season if he can average one homer per every 1.4 at bats.

AN INSIDE THE PARKER !!!

NEW YORK (AP) Jay Bruce thought he sailed around the bases without much trouble at all. His teammates saw it differently, so they didn't pass up a chance to razz the All-Star slugger when he got back to the bench.
Bruce hit an inside-the-park homer that left Jason Bay with yet another injury and the Cincinnati Reds beat the New York Mets 7-3 on Friday night to give Bronson Arroyo his first victory in 5 1/2 weeks.

120 for his career. Not a bad call Chop but the problem is, the 50 HR season has all but disappeared thanks to better juice testing.
