Anyways, as for the game. It's hard not to think Autzen will give Oregon a huge advantage. However, the current line of 6 is overly inflated. Not that Cal has proven anything, but Oregon less so. They let Houston run all over them, caught Michigan after the most depressing game in school history, and caught Fresno after a multiple OT game. Then they putzed around with Stanford for a half a la UCLA and let their back-up RB top 100 yards. On the flip side, can't put money on Cal either. Tedford has not won a non-bowl game as an underdog since '03.

So after all that, believe it or not, i think the best play in this game is the UNDER (72). Tedford's defense is banged up, and he has to know his only chance to win this game is to keep the score down by running the ball and controlling the clock. I see the winning team in the 30's, not the 40's.

Cal UNDER was ez $$$. Conan, i am sure you lost your $50 ass again today.

Good call on the under. Amazingly it was probably about a yard away from a horrific bad beat as Oregon could have tied and game gone to overtime and gone over.
Regardless, the under was absolutely the correct play.

College football is an utter disaster right now. Cal, who couldn't stop Oregon to save their life, is gonna be the #3 team in the country. And USC, struggling with a pedestrian (at best) Washington team is #1. Oh how the game has fallen. Athletes are supposed to be bigger, faster, stronger, etc... USC and Cal wouldn't be in the top 20 if you go back 10 or even 20 yrs. These teams stink. Auburn would beat Washington. Don't kid yourself. Tonight's game was exhibit A for USC. They often play like shit, are TERRIBLY coached, and yet it never matters b/c their competition is so inferior. My boys at Ohio State? They beat Idaho (who sucks), Nebraska (who sucks), Washington State (who sucks), and now Washington (who sucks). How impressive! And now ESPN will have you believe their "road is tough" with high rated Cal and Oregon on the schedule. Didn't we hear this last yr. Cal was life and death to beat a pitiful CSU team, and Oregon couldn't cover a blanket a defense. if you are the #3 team in the country which Cal will be) you don't let your opponent drive the length of the field like a knife through butter in the closing minute.
