I just wanted to start this thread so I can bump it up in week 8 when Graham has 1000 yards and 10 TDs at the half way point.

Eaxactly. Are you kidding me. Tight ends are a dime a dozen. Peyton made Jacob Tamme look legit and this new guy in Denver as well. Calvin Jonhson every time and in real life, I take him over Peterson. When you have a great receiver who can catch and create seperation, that is rare. With a great QB throwing to them, they are great. What would Marvin Harrison look like if Donovan McNabb was his qb. Just average

And you could get a 1,000 yard rusher with a great QB in the 6th round

Elite TE's are harder to find than elite WR's.

I think if Graham was a better blocker than I would choose him. But since he's strictly a pass catching TE than I would go with Megatron.

This and it is not even close. He is basically, for all intents and purposes, a WR that has the TE label.

I don't think you would find anybody that, when discussing WR, would take Jimmy Graham over Calvin.

Now in saying that, Jimmy Graham is an absolute baller. But you take Calvin Johnson, and it isn't even close...

He CAN block, but he isn't very good at it. Read any kind of scouting report and they will all say the same thing. He's just not very good at blocking, which is okay, because that's not what hes on the field for.

The answer is Calvin Johnson, and it isn't close. Jimmy Graham is a stud, but he's not Calvin and never will be.

SHOULD BE A GOOD WEEK FOR MEGATRON:
STOPPING MEGATRON: Johnson is still one of the most dominant receivers in the league, and he already has 19 catches for 329 yards and two touchdowns.

Next up: a matchup against a secondary still trying to steady itself. The Jets have started converted safety Antonio Allen and backup Darrin Walls at cornerback, and they’ve faired OK. Oh, and Johnson needs one game of 200 or more yards receiving to break a tie with Hall of Famer Lance Alworth for the most in NFL history with six.

Johnson might be licking his chops this weekend since he’s going up against a defense that allowed the Packers’ Jordy Nelson 209 yards receiving in Week 2.
