I guess I should’ve known that asking someone why they prefer a candidate to another is simply too much of an advancing of discussion in this white hot and polarized political environment.

How would I know? I barely know who he is. You brought up immigration, not me.

You think I searched the site for wabashwondeds posts on Donnelly?

My my life isn’t all about reading wanash wonders previous posts on politics.
Lol. All you had to do is read a few posts above. You aren’t that smart apparently. I’ll give you a hint

I said I don’t know much about him. So I asked why is he a puppet. You seem so adamant that he is, figured you may care to explain.

Didnt know that was too much and you now have to tell me I’m not that smart in every post. I feel a lot smarter than you, I’ll tell you that much.

Lol, maybe I’m off my meds and that’s the problem. I mean, ever since you made that statement about me I figured you knew everything about me.

You are just not seeing my point here so i think its funny since you are supposed to be so smart. Lol

Can you get CTE over the internet? WTF did Willie do to this guy?
Let me explain it to you since you obviously are one of the sheep and just don’t get it. See, the Republicans want Braun because no matter what he will follow his sheep and vote with Republicans on everything to please Trump. It won’t matter what the bill is, he WILL vote with his fellow sheep or puppets as I call them whether he agrees with it or not. Now, not all states have this opportunity but I do with Donnelly because he isn’t a puppet. Now, I’m not saying I agree 100% with everything Donnelly stands for but how many can really say that about any candidate. Donnelly is basically an Independent posing as a Democrat. He will look at a bill and vote accordingly and NOT just be a puppet and follow a party. Whether he is right or wrong, that is the kind of politician I want making decisions for me.

By the way, as I’m writing this, your puppet Braun was declared the winner so you can all be happy.

Oh man....

Wabash likes them MAVERICKS. They STICK TO THEIR GUNS.

So umm....Got an example of a policy proposal that Braun will just back the GOP senate/Trump where Donnelly won't that you feel justifies this opinion?

Did they cover that on "The View"

I doubt it.

What did I do now? All I said is "check", meaning I voted. We're in the main forum so I keep it civil out of respect to the owners and the mods

But I do occupy a lot of small minds, I don't even know when most of the time, I just know I'm in there because of comments like yours

And let me tell you, I'm feeling claustrophobic in here, not a lot of space

Based on Trumps platform for Republicans, why would this matter? Donnelly is in favor of Trumps immigration policy so either candidate is a win for Trump on immigration.

Actually looked this guy up. He voted for the gang of 8 bill in 2013.

Yeah, he would be a real "win" on immigration for Trump. No doubt.

pretty dramatic, geez.. TLT up nearly .5%!! yields should be trade bound now, no longer spooking the market. Powell up tomorrow at 2 pm and if he changes tune a bit and is more conciliatory would add fuel to this market boost, perhaps significant fuel.

qqq's formed one of my favorite candlesticks two days ago, clear as day at 3:50 pm-- a hammer pattern with a long tail---BOOM!!!!!!!

I really don't get all the push to get people to vote in general.

I don't want stupid people voting. I honestly think there should be more restrictions on voting. You should need a valid ID, and you should have to pass a certain level on
an IQ test. And, I think there's an argument that if you haven't worked a day in your life, you shouldn't be allowed to vote either - unless there is a damned good reason.

You should have to pass atleast some type of basic civics test or atleast a test showing you understand the issues in question.

Otherwise you get stuff like this...

Enfuego says "We need Braun"

WaBash in post #25 responds...

"Based on Trumps platform for Republicans, why would this matter? Donnelly is in favor of Trumps immigration policy so either candidate is a win for Trump on immigration."

This is simply not true at all. Donnelly is not close to being entirely in favor of Trump immigration policy. Either the poster in post #25 was being intellectually dishonest or he just isn't very informed. There is a huge gap between the two candidates on the issue that the poster referenced.

Here is a breakdown of the two candidates on said issue..

I don’t care what Donelly’s position was. We needed control of the Senate. That’s all I cared about.
