I was the starting pitcher in a llws championship game. No joke. Taking the mound as a12yo in front of 30,000+ was pretty insane. I will never forget all the memories at Williamsport that summer.

I grew up in williamsport so it was my dream every day to play in the LLWS. very cool.

We didn't get to see the town at all. We stayed on the grounds the entire time. For being the starting pitcher I was given a baseball signed by the Commander in Chief, which I still have to this day. Obviously I don't wanna say what year or what President for privacy reasons.

I played LL for Holy Child....Pitcher and catcher.....I was pretty good I must admit.

I still hit the fields playing softball though.

I played 2b fist 4 years. When we went to the regulation size field, the coachs son was playing 2b. The only problem was, he was left handed. I didn't find till the next season, when I was on another team, that my dad had spoken to the manager.They didn't see eye to eye on how the game was to be played.

I was one of the first free agents ever

Haha, full season's worth...about 36 games if memory serves. No power, just singles and doubles. I laid down about 20 bunt singles that year and didn't get thrown out once. Lost state championship in extra innings...
