Is anyone watching this?! HOLY FREAKING CRAP. The sea of people is just insanity.

Crowd runs so deep, HD doesnt even capture it.

It's pretty amazing just to go the far end of the Mall when no event is happening and just look back towards the Capitol, while imagining the place packed with people in a united cause of any kind.

Nothing

since they are the only U.S. company qualified to do such work

First of all, why are "companies" contracted to handle MILITARY details to begin with?

why don't you ask Clinton, who hired Haliburten with a no bid contract to rebuild the Balkans in the 90's.

or maybe you can ask LBJ or Truman, who used NBC's in the very same way.

Haliburton was hired to rebuild infrastructure, not sure what "MILITARY details" means. But it's nothing new, NBCs are nothing new and hiring Haliburton is nothing new.

The only thing new is how left wing hate sites inform and mold their flock.

Oh but Willie... see the difference that you FAIL to mention there is How many shares of Haliburton stock did the Clintons own?? How many shares did Tricky Dick own?? and You also fail to Mention that CHENEY WORKED FOR HALIBURTON.. That big bad Liberal Media again...pointing out all those Inconvenient little facts.. lets also not forget that their stock rose over %3000 percent.. during the Bush years.. You dont mention that anywhere..

Hey im just trying to be Fair and Balanced here...

Cheney was chief executive officer of Halliburton from 1995 through August 2000. The company's KBR subsidiary is the main government contractor working to restore Iraq's oil industry in an open-ended contract that was awarded without competitive bidding.

According to Cheney's 2001 financial disclosure report, the vice president's Halliburton benefits include three batches of stock options comprising 433,333 shares. He also has a 401(k) retirement account valued at between $1,001 and $15,000 dollars.

Is the correct word im looking for PWNED

or OWNED?

Sweetpea, if Haliburton is the only US Company capable of rebuilding Iraq, then Haliburton is the only US Capable of rebuilding Iraq. Not rocket science, but even simple things go way over your head. Maybe you think the government should have hired a French company.

You see, both administrations hired Haliburton to "get a job done". You are akin to a cinder block, just not as useful as one.

But it sure helps to start a FALSE war and MISLEAD THE NATION when you own 433,333 shares of a Company that is gonna go in and get ALL those big Fat Juicy MULTI-BILLION Dollar contracts...

But to you thats just coincedence.. Take the Blinders off Willie.. Even your Simple mind can see it... Come on admit it... You dont think thats a little bit of a conflict of interest??

Im just trying to be fair and balanced here Willie? So you blame the Liberals for this? Are you saying this isnt a newsworthy story?

and im sure that Haliburton is the ONLY company that could build a prison like the one at Guantanamo bay.. or maybe Haliburton profited off of it????

Hmmm... I wonder why they chose Haliburton to build it????

im sure it has nothing to do with Cheneys 20 Million Dollar interest in the company...

From what I read Cheney had a net worth of slightly over 1 million when he was sec of Defense at the end of Daddy Bush's term. At the present time he is worth over 70 million.

Good investments I guess. Damn my broker says that I can only safely withdraw 3% a year.

if you can link or document any of that, it might mean something

PS: I'm not talking about the 3% part. I assume when advising 3%, he's saying that won't cut into your principal over the next 20 years? If retiree's annuitize their assets, figuratively speaking, they can usually much withdraw more than 3%.

BTW: how did the Clinton's become so wealthy on government pay? Republicans seem to come to DC wealthy already.

Google Dick Cheney's net worth.

Lot of interesting stuff there. Didn't find the exact quote that I mentioned that I had read somewhere but lots of neat shit. You can read his tax returns since 2000. You would be best qualified to judge them.

One interesting point, Cheney has worked in the public sector for all but 5 of the last 35 years. During that span he has accumulated a net worth of about 94 million dollars.

As far as Bill Clinton, have you seen what he gets for a speaking engagement?
