You'll see shortly that there are posters in here who get a lot of respect. They are really good reads and bring good information. Some will even tell you who they like for the upcoming week.

However they are not putting a gun to your head to play that game nor are they telling you to blow your load on the game. And if you do play the game and lose, lets not troll the hell out of them b/c they lost one. We lose too many good posters that way

trust yourself if your following the game enough... Some of these threads in here will give you some damn good information why you might want to be on a game or get off a game.. Conan's threads imo are at the top of the list.. very good info for WC action

This may not be what you want to hear, but from my experience you should not get involved with this endeavor as their are easier ways to make money and more enjoybale hobbies as well that don't consume as much time and are not as likely to drive you crazy. If you can find a way to go against other amateurs and avoid the vig via some pools and what not that might be a another story, but going against the vig is a tough game to beat imo.

Sendacash hit the hammer on the nail.

Betting college football is easy...WINNING IS DIFFICULT...damn HARD even for veterans. Clowns promoting the easy money are just miserable losers who can't afford to bet their own money.

I don't want to get into a pissing contest with the "HEY, LOOK AT ME CROWD" but guys ask yourself a question....why don't these frecken experts just bet their picks rather than promote them here on the RX. Last I heard, damn RX AIN't paying them a fucken penny. Jesus men, use some common sense with these "Hotdogs" please. Alternative: Play them Up or Don't play or flush them down the hole.

If you want the honest truth- fade everything you see. As I've gotten older and am about to start my 8 year in sports betting I've realized that the only long term way to win is to go against the the picks that EVERYONE thinks are locks. So what I'm saying is about what The Falls is saying; use BookieReport's info (if he's posting). As the season goes on he starts adding bullshit, but at the beginning he usually posts solid needed info. I wish he didn't get caught up in trying to "win" as each season goes, but anyways, I'll get off my soap box. And the person that said you can have as much fun betting $10 as you can $50 is so right, and it's so much more fun when you wake up Monday down $50 instead of $550. Ideally you wake up and go collect, but if not, take it easy and try and make it to week 3. I've got buddies that are busted before conference play starts year in and year out! BOL. Let's have fun this year and make some good vacation money.

I ask this same question from the supposed real estate experts who travel around selling their systems on how to make millions flipping homes. If their info is so damned good why in the hell aren't they just following their own advice and flipping homes? Why are they giving away their secrets?? Because it's less risk? Complete jackasses all these type of folks are.

I don't think it is about following somebody. It is enlightening to get more than one opinion on anything and that holds true for betting sports also. You get some homers in here and you get some who have done more homework than others. There will be enough info in this forum to make you maybe consider something(s) that you might not have considered otherwise. Also keep in mind there are many ways to bet when it comes down to it. Sides and Totals both of which you can also bet by halfs (1st half/2nd half) and parlays. If someone on here gets hot look at their stuff a little closer. Some guys on here specialize in conferences (Conan/Pac 10 etc). There are more considerations later on in the season. Is a team coming in off a big win or loss, who do they face the following week, injuries, it goes on and on. The only true conclusion that comes from tossing a coin is that it will land somewhere. Not good enough for me. BOL

None of my business partner other than I hate to see young guys get eaten alive every year in sports gaming.

Have fun and don't bet over $10.00 a game while figuring out the pros and CONS of this business.

Young bettors like you get buried year in and year out. You can have more fun while learning at 10 bucks a game verses 50 or 100 bucks per game. Not preaching and hope you take it that way.

For God's sake. Don't trust pay services or the clowns on here who are always promoting their picks. GL

Well said. This is how I started. There were a few times where I strayed, and made bigger bets. But keeping a disciplined approach is the best way to get started.

Big Cat is very good. No drama. No attention seeking. He wins pretty consistently.

Be very careful of the guys you sense might be into "heavy drinking" especially by the time the late games roll-around.
This can be a very dangerous time of the night for sports bettors. You will find out who the good handicappers are. Just
watch for a while and be patient.....you'll know when to jump-in........Good luck. There are some damn good cappers in
this Forum.

I would advise against waking & baking before betting the morning card as well.

I'm also new here too, and not trying to toot my own horn, but I was planning on posting my picks here this season! I'm not big player.
I consider myself a PAC specialist. I might have a strong opinion on one outside game!
I consider it very good advice to focus on one conference or maybe a region, usually close to home!
The last two seasons I was 60%+ on PAC games.
Picks will come with my reasoning and confidence level.

Conan and Red Eye are resident PAC 12 specialists. Look for them...after you post your picks.
