Who is projected to go to the outback bowl?

Very depressing, 12 pts from being undefeated........and Iowa would be if they had a better offensive coordinater than O'Keefe.

I don't think Iowa deserves to be ranked in the top twenty or even perhaps the top twenty-five at this time, but I find it hard to believe they are ranked 39th in the coaches poll. I wonder where JOE PA ranked them.

If they do win their last two games, I at least hope they find their way into the top 20 in both the AP and Coaches poll, considering they would probably be playing in a New Years Day Bowl..........it would be embarrassing if they were not. Please note, not knocking the poll voters here, more so the Big Ten and Iowa themselves.

By the way, the OUTBACK BOWL being played at 11am EDT is a travesty.

This OUTBACK BOWL, having attended both a combined four times, is a much better all-around bowl than the CAPITAL ONE bowl in my opinion.

TAMPA is hosting and has hosted SUPERBOWLS for goodness sakes, that should tell you something!

Outback Bowl is considerably better than the Capital One Bowl..........and to take it a step further, the ALAMO BOWL is better than both and it's considered a lesser bowl than both of the above mentioned.

I am going to the Capital One Bowl which is why i ask. i would love to see Georgia play in it rather than LSU. Moreno, Stafford, Green, Masaquoi, regardless of their record this team is fun to watch. Maybe they will be paired with Ohio State, which wouldnt be bad, but if i had to see Michigan State i will go crazy, and may just sell my ticket. Can you imagine that matchup--Georgia vs MSU, yuck

Hate bowl tie-ins. How many times do we need to see Georgia/Tennessee vs Iowa/Wisconsin? Would love to see the SEC travel out of their protected area to play some other teams too.

There is no team in CFB that travels better than the Hawkeyes, for a few reasons.

1. Frigid in Iowa
2. Farmers are off
3 Simply great fans, with no other strong alliegence to other teams(no pro sports and Iowa State stinks).

I thought Iowa loved the Packers...

When I went to college in Iowa 1969-1971, there was nothing like attending the high school girls basketball championships and the NCAA Wrestling Championships...fans went ape for these events.
