Really how hard is it to have a contest and just pay everyone in a week or 2 after contest ends?
Trouble is--thinking people entering free contests are then going to dump the cash won into one of their sponsors/affiliates. With also the thoughts this will bring in contributing posters.
Epic fail on both fronts. The only posts u get from these guys is how you take forever to pay and site is finding out these winners just take the cash and run---they don't deposit a cent into the gambling sites they are forced to join.

Problem is they have no vision of what they want to be...
Having numerous picks threads in the main forum(just a mess) and having the algorithm identify key words and have it place the same thread in different forums---ridiculous. Though I did enjoy trying to talk about Buffalo bills along with people asking me if I was talking about the university of Buffalo and why I put this thread in the college football forum.(I didn't place it there)
But I digress.
At lest simply learn to pay your contests in a timely manner. It might be free but people put in effort. Don't just brush it off as you're doing the poster(s) a favor---if you believe this then stop offering them(imo)

So what have they changed; the layout.
Opportunity missed here, should have had a layout where posters could allow others to give positive/negative reputation points. Then on the front page of the site, put their top 10 most reputable and least reputable posters. How much talk would that bring each day.
Could have done the same for their tracking software on sports wagers. Put a top 10 on units up. You already have the tracking software on their picks so highlight who is doing well. This adds motivation and a little celebrity to these guys.

I get the idea. But truthfully people aren't going to go through picks threads to find someone to follow. It's just annoying for established members and confusing to look at for newbies.
Things you could add; Podcast/radio show
You could go in numerous directions here. Have a staff member host it and bring on posters.
Do something with your sponsors that is unique to just your site.
example: make 100 posts in the month of X and get a free entry into fanduel's "whatever million dollar contest." These contest normally cost all of around $5 to enter but i bet traffic picks up whatever months you are doing these.
Or keep running the site like Shrink in the year 2000 and keep watching the site dissolve. Times change you need to change with it.

For some reason, you're the only winner with the Paypal option that didn't receive the winnings, others were fine and confirmed that they already received it.
