I am nervous at any book. I dont know where they are and they can disappear at any time.

I play offshore because its very convenient, but may just move the majority of my bets to my local.

This same crap swirls around every year at this time. The companies that have survived for 5 plus years will continue to strive. Aces Gold was being talked about a month or so before going under. There has been no talk this year and offshore continues to get bigger and make more money every year. I keep saying if the books go under I will open me up a book. It's too easy for the books to make money for them to go under. I'll pull some out just because there isn't as much to bet on anymore, but I think the big boys will be fine.

the advice as to whats 'safe' is no different this time of year than any other time... play with publicly traded books where there financial situation is known and/or the large, long established books.

"My prediction...

Pinnacle goes broke under the weight of being pounded by the syndicates at -105, panic ensues, and the entire sports betting industry collapses from the massive run on the bank this would cause."
