I'm no Kobe fan, even before the rape charges he came across as sort of a drama King. He was real vocal about how bad he had it with his dad, how someway he would muddle through it all but it was pure hell for him and his family to go on knowing his dad wasn't talking to him. I guess it was because of his marriage or something but yeah man you sure got it rough compared to the rest of the world, no one else has ever had a family problem.


Now more drama with the Malone thing? His wife reported what Karl did to his wife? That's something Kobe should have handled man to man and without all this media hype. I hate guys who look for sympathy from others and make big deals out of things they can control. Sak up and play ball Kobe, your showing your immaturity and I think most the league have had about enough of it.

Right Jman, along those lines Reggie also said, they don't boo nobody's! I think a lot to do with it is because the better you are usually the bigger your ego, they often go hand in hand. To the public a real cocky dude can turn off a lot of people. Players with big egos don't bother me, I like Bonds, I like TO, hell I live in Tampa and like Keyshaun, probably the only guy down here that does. As long as you produce between the white lines I don't hold it against you unless you're a real assclown.

Human nature is to root against success..If the news was filled with nothing but nice stories about kind people, no one would watch...

As odd as that sounds its 100% true....take Howard Cosell , people loved to hate him ( I loved Howard) but most would love to have someone like that around to hate right now...

i mean chad johnson is a very good receiver, but imagine if he was on Moss or Owens level. Damn hed be the most hated guy in ALL of sports.
