If Edgerrin James returns and stays healthy I'd take the Colts, if not Denver or KC.

Hey Oren,

No OAK?? You have given up on your squad??

Big Lou please explain how Indy and NE are not in contention in your opionion please?

Five Doors, NE is a dark horse but they were when they won the Bowl too so who knows.

The Chiefs.
They are 5-0 and haven't even played well yet. Their Offense, mainly Trent Green, hasn't done a thing yet, but they are 5-0. If he just approaches his 2002 performance, KC becomes a dominant team.
The Colts, Denver, Miami have all played well at various times this year. The Chiefs haven't yet.
For strictly value purposes, I'd probably take Baltimore. Boller has been dreadful so far, he should be better by season's end, as should the Ravens as a whole.

Hey Guesser,

I agree with the value portion taking Balt 10-1. Pitt is not looking good at all and they can win that division if they pull it together. If KC has not played well offensively, which I agree with you 100% on, than it will catch up with them and they will lose games. Take my word for it, Dante Hall DOES NOT have a TD return this week in Lambeau and KC loses their 1st game by a larger margin than the spread. GB is turning it on and Ahman is running like a maniac, look out for GB to pull this one off. I would like to see KC match up against a stellar defense like the Phins and see how they do. Green has thrown a bunch of picks already this year. It will be interesting.

no, their offense definitely isn't as awe-imspiring so far this year, but they've still played pretty damn well, last year week 4 they scored 48 points against Miami

so we haven't seen a break-out game from them compared to that, but, they're still rollin' along pretty well. Last two weeks they faced tough defenses, I imagine they'll score more against the Pack, and that revamped D might be able to give Farve some trouble.

o.k. maybe I'm smoking crack, their D isn't actually ranked very high, and is a bit lower than Green Bay's which has dropped of considerably the last couple of years... But, their D has scored the most fantasy points which means they give up a lot of yards but have also caused a lot of turn-overs, sacks, etc.

11 sacks, 10 ints, 5 fumble recoveries, and 2 touchdowns. Playing the Texans helped these stats a bit. 75 points allowed, which isn't that bad, either.

I like the Colts to bring home the hardware. The Edge has had a bruised back keeping him out of 2 games but might be back this weekend against the Panthers. But are 3 other backs have been filling in nicely.Plus all of are backup's have been filling in nicely in all positions and Coach Dungey is a happy man with this years squad. Can't wait to see the Colts spank the Panthers this weekend then it's a week off. P.S don't forget the hourseshoes have covered every game this season and i don't see Carolina stopping the streak this weekend. GLTA

Hey Snick,

I agree with you 100%, I think Colts will be 7-0 (beating Carolina and Houston) entering Pro Player stadium where they will play a 7-1 Miami Dolphins (beating Jack, NE @ home and SD Monday Night) IMO. Then they will look like they did in the 1st half of the Tampa game and Wanny and the Phins will give them their first loss. I know Indy will win the AFC South and they will win at least 11 games this year. They may have home field through the playoffs. It will be between them, MIA, KC and DEN. North is out of the race and not serious contenders and KC and DEN have a very difficult schedule. Tenn will be a dark horse but they will get a wild card unless they really turn it up. Look out for Miami, gonna stick to my guns.

Miami..........that loss to Houston turned the season around, even though it hadn't begun yet!

Hey Buff,

I agree with you 100%. That Houston game was a blessing in disguise. That loss made them really focus on every week like it is their last game. I think Miami is the team to beat in the AFC. They are not getting the respect they deserve just yet because of the Houston game but that is okay. -3 against Jacksonville?? That is crazy!! Maybe after they blow out Jacksonville they will get some respect.

Okay, now that Miami won by two TD's can they get some respect now? Damn KC looked good, I picked them to lose. GB was up 3 scores and Ahman Green lost GB that game in OT. Indy looked like an average team in the 2nd half. I can ask this now that 8pm game is SF/SEA and MNF is ATL/STL all NFC teams. Big question now:

WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN THE AFC RIGHT NOW?
