BTW, Fitch is up to +320 on CRIS/Bookmaker.

Lots of late money coming ino on GSP, Herring, and Florian apparently.

GSP was the toast of the UFC after beating Matt Hughes for the title, and now he has to fight some chump off Ultimate Fighter who gets a mandatory title shot for winning the show. Thats exactly what GSP was thinking going into that fight , even though Serra had good credentials. Favorites tend to overlook the underdogs a lot, it happens in pro sports every day, but I tend to believe GSP when he says that loss to Serra was the best thing to ever happen to him, he has looked even more dominant since that loss and I think it will be a while before he gets too overconfident going into a fight again. Odds are too big for me on that fight tonight though, just staying away and gonna enjoy watching it.

People tend to slip and lose their balance when they get punched repeatedly in the head.

There is a difference between being woozy from a punch and just not being able to firmly plant your foot, the latter of which happened to GSP. I don't know if he slipped on blood from a previous fight or what... it looked to me like it was the advertiser emblems that he was having issues with. Gonna watch the fight right now and see if I have the same opinion I had the first few times I've seen it.

Just rewatched that fight. First off, it was an illegal shot to the back of the head that started it all. Not blaming Serra since St Pierre was moving his head around and was hard to pinpoint, but it caught GSP right in the back of the head. Not legal. Second off, it was definitely a slip that caused the beginning of the end. No doubt about it. He seemed a little dizzy after the shot to the back of the dome but had space and simply slid his foot on the mat when he went to plant. Then Serra decked him solid. It's his one KO/TKO loss and it started with an illegal shot and then had a slip. If you want to give the guy the label "glass chin" because of it, well, it's your mistake IMO.
