Good thread. I've been looking at a house with a pool but it just seems like work....here in wv , I could use it prob April-October..doesn't seem worth it...why not buy a pool membership for the kids in the summer would be much cheaper...

I don't have a pool, but my wife still insists that the "pool boy" visit every 2 weeks....when I'm at work...

Second happiest day will be when you get your pool clean, running; and safe to swim in..

Happiest day will be when you fill the damn thing in with dirt and have a nice garden...!!!

Actually, I do love the pool; and do skinny dip with the wife at night; and do plunge in after a hot day; but it is more work and more expensive than you might think..jmho..

My pal 5teamparlay has no worries about cost of pool.....I have seen him deal cards at that HardRock Casino.....he rakes solid tip money, especially from the Cougar crowd on account of his boyish good looks at age 40.

And don't forget the huge cash flow from his side biz that employs the GoPro if you know what I mean and I think you do

I don't pay anything in FL because it's a Condo, but in NY cost $112 a month. not including the cost to Open & Close the pool

Haha great movie.

If you use it then it is worth it, especially if you can year round. I lived in a house with a heated salt water lap pool and I used it to do laps almost every day. And that is not even one of my sports. Great exercise.
