All twitter is, is a status bar. There are a million other social networking sites that offer much more. Its gay a waste of time and is for people with no friends. I also hate when ESPN brings it up every other word.

you do realize they have an application on facebook where when you update your status on facebook it will update it on twitter and vice versa. i only log into one and its usually facebook.

Drew couldn't be more correct. Understanding how to use it correctly is the whole key. I fucked around with it for about a month before it finally clicked just how useful a tool it is. I don't Myspace or Facebook and rarely if ever send out a twitter message, but I follow over 250 people. Almost everyone of them to gather hockey information as it breaks. If someone is injured and declared "out" for a game.....the information breaks on Twitter long before it ever gets to you using a line service. And I expect that kind of information to be available for free via Twitter before long if it isn't already available somewhere. And I've only took advantage of it for capping hockey, I fully expect it to be an equally useful tool for fantasy football in the fall. It really is a fantastic service.

Wicked tapas-style experience that's customized to you and constantly changing/seasonal, tough to describe but it's a trendy spot right now.

http://www.fuelrestaurant.ca/ - Fuel Restaurant is another great spot, voted best new restaurant in the city. Little pricier but outstanding tasting menus.

Wild Rice - http://www.wildricevancouver.com/

Another cool little spot, modern asian cooking, really tasty stuff from there. Middle price range.

If someone tweeted inside info on a game you were looking to bet would you give a shit? If someone wanted to hire your business or use your service because of a valuable twitter post would you give a shit?
