I'm all over the place. Sometimes I go to the table with as little as $200, sometimes $2000 and sometimes as much as $10,000. Some days you see me at the $50 table, some days at the $5 table. All depends.
any reason you will not gamble during the day?it's my favorite time because the least amount of people the better!!yeah well I'm a weird Gambler when it comes to Casinos ... I ONLY gamble at Night ... After Dinner or a Show ... I have never been to the tables in the day time
Even when once we were in the Bahamas and we had one day of bad weather, so couldn't hang out by the pool or beach ... Host calls me and asked if I would be playing
I told him no, only at night.
I also won't drink while gambling
Six hours is a long time for me today. 20 years ago I would probably spend 12 or more hours at the tables when at a casino. Now if I win in the first hour or less, I can walk away and enjoy the day.
PS: never chase, at anything, tomorrow's another day
You definitely should take him. I wanna meet that guy. Good luck, Cy.My father-in-law introduced me to craps. He was pretty sick. Once he was in Vegas and he had been glued to the table for a long time one day. The pit boss was trying to get him to take a break. He offered him a room but my father-in-law declined. The pit boss went home after his shift was over and when he came back the next day my father-in-law was still there!! He ended playing over 36 hours before going to his room. His nickname was Barnacle Bill.....once his fingers got curled around a craps table you couldn't pry him off. He's in a nursing home now....has lost his eyesight completely and not in the best of health. Next Saturday is his 88th birthday and he asked me if I would take him to the casino for one last fling. He said I could make his bets for him and tell him what was rolled and he would sit in his wheelchair. He thinks since it's his 88th that hard 8's should be hitting all night. We will see.
isn't that how it always goes? I have brought many thousands to tables before and get killed....bring $250 and the dice are on fire!At the RX bash in 2010, Viking611 and I were drinking in the afternoon and decided to hit the automated craps table at Wild Bill's or Barbary Coast, whatever it was called at the time. It was a real craps table, but you made your bets on a computer, so it went much faster. We literally were not looking to make any money and just bet like $5 with $5 odds. It had a scoreboard that showed how many rolls you had thrown. I held the dice for a long time, probably 45 minutes. On a real table, it would have been so much longer. I read that the longest roll ever was 3 hours, 45 minutes, and the lady only rolled like 154 rolls. So basically I rolled for half as much as the longest roll ever. You know how much I made? $300. LMFAO. People at the table had bought in for $200 and were cashing out 3K plus and getting hosts to come up to them and get their info. I've had many degenerate days where I lost a lot, and I only won $300 on the longest roll that I will ever see in a lifetime of consistent craps play. I had the one roll that everyone dreams about, and made $300. Lol, what a joke. Viking still sends me pics every once in awhile of the scoreboard that said 80 rolls.
