I have a problem. I have a Playstation 3 PS3 and want to list it on ebay. Well, Ebay just came out with pre-sale requirements and I fail to meet 1 of the 7.

Here are the ebay requirements:

1. You must have a Feedback of 50 or more. (NO-I dont have, just 20, but all positive)
2. Your Feedback score must be 98% or above. (YES, I have 100%)
3. You may only list one system. You may list 1 PlayStation 3 and 1 Nintendo Wii with a photo of your pre-order receipt for each system. (Yes, I comply)
4. You must accept PayPal as your only payment option. (Yes, I comply)
5. You must include a photo of your receipt in the listing. (Yes, I comply)
6. No Buy It Now will be allowed. (Yes, I comply)
7. No one day listings will be allowed.
(Yes, I comply)

So, I fail by 30 positive feedbacks, and want to do a 7 day auction ending on next friday, the day it is released. Does anyone here want to list it for me, using your account, and I pay you the fees plus $50?<!-- / message -->

How do we know what your selling is legit? If it's not, it's our account (ebay and paypal) that the buyer would have recourse against.

bad move

What proof do you want? Ill list it. Ill start with a picture of my PS3 receipt.

how much are you expecting the auction to go up to? 2500? So you're going to make about $2100 profit while you throw a bone to the guy who actually made it happen for you. Nice.

If for some reason down the line the person who sells the ebay item gets audited, they will have $2000 of income to answer for and only $100 to pay a fraction of the taxes.

Also, there is a decent chance that even though you have a presale reciept you will not be getting a PS3 on launch day. Some stores oversell and put you on a wait list for the 2nd shipment to come in. Some stores are promised 25 units by sony and only get less then 10 on the first shipment. There is so much chaos on launch day that all rules are thrown out the window that day.

I would suggest to anybody willing to sell this on ebay on launch day to get a % of the profits. But beware. Do your homework as there is a huge amount of ebay fraud for both buyers and sellers on launch day
