To answer the original question, I've never had an account at BHB.
But, if I did belong to a book that was down THIS long due to DDoS attacks, they probably would see my skeedaddling out right after they came back up. Why? Because I'd have no confidence that there wouldn't be a second down-time just as long, assuming it would be hacker-driven. In other words, the response time involved here simply is of such a long nature compared to other books under similar attack that I would not want to risk it again. But then, I happen to be one of those who vastly prefer to place bets online rather than the phone, and though of COURSE I'm certainly not referring to BHB here since I don't have an acct there, I simply don't wish to risk having a line just happen to change when I called in to get it. If I have to call, then I don't play - but of course that is not what a lot of people prefer.
p.s. this isn't anti-BHB at all - this is simple common sense - BHB or whomever runs their computers had more than ample time from seeing other books get attacked in the past few months to be proactive and prevent it. If this is a question of the basic infrastructure having to be changed, then it should have been done as a preventive measure weeks ago in stages that wouldn't result in such a long down-time.
