Kobe Bryant is the most popular athlete in the WORLD right now. Nevermind Cali.

You remember the Olympics opening ceremony and the crowd just went nuts for him?!

Kobe couldn't get elected to the local school board - he's a fvck. I stand by my statement

Kobe has run a 5 man offense for years. Thats more experiance than the POTUS has and he got elected. Only thing Arnold ever ran was shit up his veins...

Louisiana..Shaq... If you asked people 30 and over only Pete would win but the 30 and under crowd gives Shaq the title hands down.

Joe M Is A No Brainer

Minnesota: Joe Mauer

some people think adrian peterson but trust me its mauer.

Not only as a Twin, but as a home town boy. Best in the USA as a HS QB, scholorship to FSU, great HS hoopster, and now the ONLY Catcher to ever win 2 batting crowns. AD, is certainly 2nd.:toast: I've been watching Mn sports for over 60 yrs and Mauer may be the 1st or 2nd (Winfield) best all around Mn atlete EVER!!

I still think Cal Ripken is #1 in MD.

Rep is golden. Above two mentioned have character flaws.

Not today he isn't. If you ask 100 people in MD right now who the most famous athlete in MD is, I think Cal finishes a distant third.
