i am sorry now that i started this thread. it doesnt make me look too good now that i read the whole thing. i had never been in the store before so i didnt really know what it was all about. now i know that it is a bargain store that has people divided more than kerry/bush 2004. my only beef with the whole experience was the smelly clientele. should have kept it to myself though...that's for sure.

you think i've never been in a fight my whole life...what the hell does that have to do with anything? i've been in fights when i grew up because i grew up in a rough part of town. i'm not really much of a fighter though, if you want to know the truth. i was always kinda skinny so, bigger kids had an advantage. i didnt meet you in vegas at the bash but, i saw pictures of you on this website after i got back. i'd say you could probably kick my ass...especially if i was between you and the buffet line.

I enjoy all of Blue's Posts and I think He is a classy guy. This thread has really taken on a life of it's own but having met Blue at the Bash briefly and read many many of his posts... I feel He is really being treated unfairly. He is one of my all time favorites and will continue to be ! I'm out !

This has gotten stupid now. Reality bites for those who hate WM, but you know what? At the end of the day Americans love a bargain and aren't going to change. Keep crying, nothing is going to change. The average American is smart enough to realize your complaining is pathetic. If workers think they get treated by WM they wouldn't be turning out in droves to work there. If companies thought WM was screwing them over too much they would say no thanks to WM as their distributor. If overseas factories were so badly treating their employees they would stop showing up by the thousands for jobs. It really is as simple as that. Stop whining and bitching about it because it really sounds like a bunch of "victims" crying the world isn't fair and should be a better place. The world is what it is and businesses like this will only grow bigger and more powerful. Trying to stop it is like trying to stop a flood with a couple of sandbags. Fling crap at me and the millions of others who shop at places like WM all you want, but I'm just going to live in the real world and make the choices which work best for me. Thank you very much.

billy, i dont disagree with anything you said...all i want is people to not smell like a garbage dumpster when out in public. i dont look down on people for wanting to save money. i thought shopping at target was saving money (and it is when compared to jewel)...i had no idea that walmart was a discount from target. i thought they were the same type of place...i really did.

You have no clue how the real world works, do you? Slavery must not have been that bad since they did not rebel, all of those children working in sweat shops must love it because they stay. You can't talk like this is perfect world and people just don't do what they don't want to do. The FACT is that Wal Mart forces companies overseas and the companies agree to it seeing as how Wal Mart is their largest distro company. As for poor working conditions at Wal Mart and at the factories overseas, that is undeniable. Wal mart gives out information on how to collect welfare to single moms getting a job wtih them. Just get your head out of your ass and maybe you would see what is really going on.
