well, I am at HOOTERS :ohno:

rules here are not that bad.

Blackjack pays 3:2
You can Split up to 4 times
You can double on any two cards
You can double after Split.

One rule that sucks here tho is the dealer hits on SOFT 17, wheras for a better game they should stay. The above rules were for a 6 deck shoe.

If your playing BJ mainly for its profit potential............

......if your not wagering a minumum $125 a hand as your base unit, play VP instead of BJ............

More profitable and 20x the action, plus the comps are tremendously better, especially for locals.

There are some tremendous BJ websites online, do a google search on these if your serious about increasing your profits at BJ.

Unfortunatly I am not skilled at video poker....... Im basically playing for entertainment, but at the same time want the best chances of breaking even or at least earning more comps than dollars lost.

WHOA - back up there. You do realize that the strategies for comps VS breaking even are completely different, right?

Breaking-even/winning means lots of searching for games, low deck counts and a dealer that holds off the shuffle (ie goes deep into the deck). You want to play by yourself at a very select game.

Playing for comps is looking for the busiest, loudest table you can find (any casino will do), LOTS of bathroom breaks and a dealer that acts like shuffling the deck is their ONLY job.

You're really talking about math vs people skills, so you really should focus on just one or the other.
