I don't understand this. If betting in your home state is legal online and you have an account in good standing with a book, but are away on a trip etc in another state for a few days, WHY on earth can't you still place a bet online? I'm in Virginia, but if I go to NC for a visit, can't bet online...What am I missing here?

This is why the other question was asked in here, if you live in a state which isn't legal, and drive to the next state where it is, can you sign up and play while in the legal state while you are in it, even if you don't reside there

I don’t recall when I signed up but assuming I had to give all my information including address. I’m also assuming you need to live in a state that’s legal in order to sign up. So unless you give a false address I doubt you can do that.
