Ahhh the North American bias! The most talented athletes are professional soccer player by far!! For the simple fact that the WHOLE PLANET (figure of speech) plays soccer, and to reach the top of the mountain you're competing against BILLIONS of players, not just thousands or hundred of thousands but BILLIONS! There are more soccer players up here in Canada than Hockey players. Soccer is the true global sport, and to be the best you have to be the most talented athlete just based on the competition you're facing. The perfect example is any ex-athlete, you go from being the best athlete in elementary school, one of the best in High school average to good in college and then your at a 9 to 5. The difference in each level is the sheer numbers of athletes your competing against. Tiny number in elementary school, small number in high school, large number in college. Competition breeds success and professional soccer players face the most competition, based on sheer numbers, than any other athletes on the planet.

Yeah but Hockey guys can play all the other major sports but the other sports can't even lace a skate
I imagine Lebron James would look pretty clumsy on Ice Skates.

to be fair, pocket pool, if done correctly, is a huge talent and shouldn't be discounted.

To be fair, most fish caught while fishing are known as "sport fish." Marlin, sailfish, dolphin (dorado/Mahi Mahi) to name a few...

I will always refuse calling fishing a sport. If a 68 year old man can beat me at something, it is not a sport

I was actually going to say boxing. Makes sense that it is #1 on that list.

You really can't box professionally unless you started doing it at like 8-10 years old. The skill it takes to do it is off the charts. Big reason why the sport has faded some, because the financial incentive, along with safety issues, just make it a risky sport for an elite athlete to go into.

Sifting through Fz's copy and pastes and not wanting to blow your head off takes an enormous of talent imo.

Yawn... We both know that is a great chart, very apropos to the discussion at hand, and you're just trying to bust my balls.

Nice try.

Hockey was #2 after boxing, so I'd say that list is pretty legit.
