I am mostly staying away from the Political Forum, too much garbage, juvenile nonsense, unsubstantiated info & data, even though a lot of it is from posters on my side of the political spectrum. Again, one in particular CLOGS it up with excessive posts, it is almost unreadable if you look at it after 1/2 a day or longer.

(Ivermenctin is associated with Merck , they would have won huge). Back to square one with it , my understanding is a double blinded study is undergoing with it now. Hopefully it can be an aid in early treatment, forget prophylactic use lol .

My son, wife and I all spent time in the hospital in July. My son was in ICU for 8 days. Treatment varies depending on severity. We all were in the #1 treatment facility in the nation for Covid state of the art treatment and results.
I was put on Ivermectin, steroids and an antibiotic. My son was on Colchicine, steroid and antibiotics, and he had plasma transfer. My wife was on a steroid and antibiotics, and maybe ivermectin... cant remember on the last one

spoke with an ICU nurse months months ago, steroids appear to be common place decrease the swelling in the airways, pretty sure the antibiotic is a just in case to prevent superinfection with a compromised immune system as a result of the bug and the strong anti-inflammatory effects of the steroid. Or they may have done a culture bacteria involved hence warranted , dunno . If they placed you on ivermectin then the treating docs believe it has efficacy on mild to moderate, cool. No uniformity in the medical community , and the compnay that makes the damn drug is warning not to use it
