ok lets say you do pass out so its not that fearful. this one probably isn't feasible but i'm very arachnophobic so getting caught and eaten alive by a shitload tarantulas of would be my MOST fearful. i would rather die EVERY conceivable way on the planet than that.

Being gased during a chemical weapon terriost attack is also a bummer. Remember Nicholas Cage in "The Rock" in that simulator. I remeber in service when we would have to go the gas chamber for training. The thought of that envirnoment without the use of a gas masks will really bring you back to reality.

It's hard to think of any other death that would be as painful as burning. Electrocution seems rather quick... it either kills ya or it don't. Freezing would be painful at first, but hikers say it feels like going numb and falling asleep. Drowning and suffocating would be pure terror before death, but technically not as painful.

Regardless, the topic of this thread is actually which death do you fear most. The honest answer would be a REAL fear. Who actually fears dying of fire or being suffocated? The odds are ridiculous. I'm more likely to die in a horrible car wreck or get shot during a robbery. Now those are legitimate fears.

Look, my uncle was on death row in a state that will remain nameless...he was electrocuted and he tells me all the time that it didn't hurt...

So get off that...

Its fire and that's that....

Boredom would be a hard way to die too

I'd hate to name the worst way to die, because it almost surely would end up being the way I do in fact die.

This is an interesting article I saw.....

http://health.howstuffworks.com/worst-way-to-die.htm

How about this way to die.....wow.

A physician we interviewed recounts the story of a laborer in Africa who worked around vats of sulfuric acid -- one of the most caustic forms of acid. The man fell in one day. He quickly leapt out, but was covered in sulfuric acid, which immediately began to burn him chemically. In a panic and excruciating pain, the man ran outside. By the time his coworkers caught up to him, the man had essentially dissolved.

The acid burned the man to death, searing through skin, cauterizing blood vessels, and eating through organs until he died. The pain would be unbearable, and the circumstances irreversible. This is unquestionably a really bad way to die.

1) Being on an airplane as its going down, youre helpless and theres literally nothing you can do
2) being burried alive, because again, you're helpless.

Buried alive.

Bingo ! It's not even close ! I can't believe some of the answers given. Freezing to death is actually not bad at all from what the experts say. Jumping is quick ! Drowning is also quick ! Burning has to be the most painful but it's also quick ! Buried alive ? Are you serious ? Easily the worst !
