Is it Wisconson, Iowa or Indiana.

A total joke these 3 were/are top 25 teams.

Indiana would be good if DJ White was playing. Without him, I agree that they just aren't very good. Davis is the worst coach in the country. Iowa is very strong at home, and decent on a neutral court, but they struggle on the road. Wisconsin sucks.

Wisconsin has a great coach, but terribly slow.

Indiana really misses DJ White right now.

Iowa has the worst coach of the three and brutal on the road. If they were to play one great road game, it would be Alford coming home to Indiana. Iowa has lost 4 out of 5 to NW, ouch.

Rail, great Big 10 game Sunday: Illinois at Ohio St.

IOWA has one of the best defensive teams in the country.

Are they a qualified BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM?.......no.

Are they realistically a TOP TEN team in the country?...........no.

Are they realisitically a legit TOP 25 team in the country?.............yes.

If Wisconsin could play ALL of their games at home they would be! Obviously they can't and are NOT a top 25 team! I agree that Indiana is not the same team without their key player, DJ White and shouldn't be in the top 40 with the team they have right now. Iowa, I think they are legit, every team seems to have its achilles heal and Northwestern seems to be it. If you don't agree with that, I would remind you of what the
'Cocks have done to a very solid Florida team. Sadly enough, with all of this, I am a Big "10" fan and am not prould. My Spartans are also overated!

Individuals like to drag the BIG TEN down year in and year out when it comes to baskets/football.

Why?

Because in the past 50 years NO conference can come close to the conference as THE powerhouse in baskets/football combined..........the main two sports the viewing public as an interest in.

Why just stop at 3 teams? The Big 10 is usually over rated. During the Wisconsin/Illinois game on ESPN a week or two ago a reporter actually had the balls to say that the Big 10 is the best conference in the country. This is not a good conference, with the exception of maybe Mich State and Ohio State. The rest of the conference is shit.

Get real. Illinois is a top 7 team, and the conference is very solid. Quit smoking crack.

Illini, they lost to Penn State at home. Penn State is a nice team and all and had their share of covers, but not a team that a Top 10 team loses to at home. Dee Brown is Illinois, if he is off, the whole team struggles.

TY for proving my point Doc Mercer. Can anyone who has watched these teams play honestly believe that Iowa is the 11th best team? Wisconsin the 17th? Indiana the 23rd? These are not good teams.

I gave them props last year, and the only thing i said about them last year was they would not go undefeated if they played the ACC schedule last year.:103631605

Oh and lets not forget 'everyone' saying JJ Redick couldn't start for the Illini.

I am not here to fight anyone. But are you serious? Telling me to get a clue and to put down the crack pipe. In my opinion, Illinois is not a Top 10 team. Top 10 teams do not lose to teams like Penn State at home, let alone as a 18 or 19 point favorite. (no I didnt lose money on the game).

Kornholio- The Big East is without a doubt the best conference in the country this year with 3 teams that can make it to the Final Four (CT, Nova and West Virginia). ACC would be second followed by the SEC and then the rest is up for grabs between B10, B12 and maybe a mid-major conference.

Although I have not posted here for very long, I believe that I have been respectful to almost everyone here. Just because my opinion is different than yours, it does not mean that I am doing any drugs or watching a different game than you.

I love the BIG TEN(obviously), but certainly would not say they are the BEST conference this year.

The reason being is that they have no LEGIT top ten team in the entire conference.

Top to bottom though, they are very tough and certainly nothing to sneeze at.

However, the fact they have no LEGIT top ten team or even quite possibly top fifteen for that matter, would tend to keep me away from saying they are the best conference this year.

But having no LESS than seven teams in the LEGIT top 25 makes for a very, very strong conference.
