PRETTY much all of them are low carb.....look above in the thread

OPTIMUM NUTRITION is probably the best IMO

Exactly. You cant find some proteins in the 7gram range but they aren't as common or they will be marketed in the weight gainer aisle The Optimum brand (100% whey protein Gold Standard) is going to be 3-4 grams of carbs a serving. There are some zero carbs proteins out there by Isopure, but I cant verify how good there are.

best to take whey protein before and after workouts. I usually try to get 1 in during the day. try to shoot for 2500 calories, about 1 gram protein per body weight.
I use this split for work out about 1 hr a time no more with about a 30-45 second wait between sets. usually 4 sets with 1 as a warm up between 12-15. set 2 10-12, set 3 10, set 4 about 8 reps .
mon chest, biceps
tues legs, abs
thurs back
fri shoulders, triceps
then i do cardio on sat and sun
Best way to get protein is thru whole foods, yeah GNC blows go thru an online site or if your area has a vitamin shoppe.

Whey protein is great but you might also want to try egg white protein powder. It's a slower absorbing protein but out does whey as far as benefits. Egg protein is the most complete protein source.

And people make the same arguement for SOY.

Look, you lift. Your muscles are hungry for protien afterwards, so you shove some into your system.

Fair enough?!

One should not rely on just one source of protein. Mix it up!
