I'm curious to see what Purdy does in the SB. Will the moment be too big for him against this great KC defense? The moment was too big for Lamar.

Purdy is good . He was excellent in the second half tonight

Your team just got better breaks is all I saw. Gift wrapped game against both Tenn 1st year and Baltimore last year. Defense gets most of the credit aided by Tannehill choking , and a terrible turnover by the Ravens that would've won the game last year..

Mahomes has a top-rated defense, and even said so himself. "Our D saved our season"... and STILL apparently saving them.

Sure, he had one great first quarter, but 17 points on most teams ain't gonna get it done.

Just like Brady who also won a lot of 17-10 type games with stellar defenses (and coaching) winning his gazillion Super Bowls.

This less than perfect Chiefs team didn't even score in the second half.

REDEYE and many others were right, Lamar doesn't have what it takes to win a Super Bowl.

KC punted 6 times and the Chiefs didn't score in the second half. This game wasn't won by Mahomes. Brock Purdy comes back from 17 at half and gets no credit. Purdy was the best QB Sunday. SF scored 27 points in the second half. KC scored 0.

Yes and no.
Purdy was awful in the 1st half. Purdy also was VERY lucky with that Aiuk catch. Also helped that the lions fumbled in the 2nd half after the niners td.

Purdy played well in the 2nd half.
