Now he's saying he won't accept a trade anywhere cause that would mean he'd have to restructure his contract and he won't do that. He says he will get released shortly.

Jags to add Daunte, subtract Garrard?

Posted: Thursday June 14, 2007 08:09AM ET

The Jaguars have talked with Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper about possibly acquiring him, and Jaguars' backup quarterback David Garrard says the team should explore that option, though such a move could end his career in Jacksonville.

If I'm Minnesota or KC, I take a serious look. Minn as a starter and KC as a backup.

Well, that god you are not. If he came back here to Minnesota I would be forced to kill myself as I couldn't take the pain. Don't people realize how absolutely awful he is and how awful he always has been? He had one good season where he threw a lot of TDs. That doesn't even come close to making up for the huge number of games he lost with one of his patented picks or fumbles. What big game did this POS ever win?

I remember watching the Miami v. Pittsburgh game with my friend. Close game at the end with Miami having the ball. It was a sick joy knowing what was coming for Miami - a classic Daunte pick. Anyone who watched lots of his games could predict it like they could see in the future.

To those who think his troubles last year had to do with his injuries need to look at the 5 games in MN before the injury. He had something like 11 turnovers.

He simply sucks.

Childress has already said he'd rather quit or be fired than have Culpeper back on the team, so no chance he goes to Minnesota.
I think Jacksonville is the most likely destination right now

As a jags fan, i like the move. Although i like culpepper because he has a strong arm and is pretty mobile.....but these days, i dont know how mobile he is....Leftwich couldnt escape from a 3 yr old tard........so, if he gets knocked out of a game, culpepper could be the starting qb for the rest of his career.

Best of luck with Tavaris Jackson and Brooks Bollinger. You guys should just start Drew Henson at least he was better than Tom Brady at one time.
