Ill- I do know a little about the JayC experience. I did not know that it was 1084 that he was convicted of. I guess I just figured that he had been convicted of a bookmaking charge. I still however doub that he could have been convicted if he had not accepted bets from people using a wire device (phone or land based internet connection). Not that I feel he should have been convicted in the first place. I give him credit for standing up to the US govt, it is not a easy thing to do!

In regards to paying taxes....The IRS does not care how you make your money. If you make money, you must pay taxes! Example, A few of the people that were recently convicted of violating the wire wager act while working at NSC had not paid their taxes from the previous year. Now even though the US govt has decided that they were breaking the law and conviscated all of their funds, they still are required to pay the tax burden from last year and this year. One guy who had 2+ million conviscated owes close to 400k the IRS. WHen the IRS was contacted and explained the situation, they said they did not care the situation if you make it you have to pay taxes!
