The only way Ken could pull off the perfect coup would be to snatch away almost all of the current Rx Mods.
The General is a very nice guy but lets face it, he is a hillbilly with very limited expertise in any business that dosen't involve busch beer or nascar.
The General's departure really means squat to most long time Rx posters. He did help out in many poster vs offshore disputes, afterall, it was his job.
Personally I think fishhead would have been the ultimate catch but fish is loyal to the core of Rx posters and to its new owner and I for one am happy he is staying here.
At first I though the banning was in poor taste but now that more of the truth is trickling out, I think Marty did what any owner would have to do. Severe your ties with those who are obviously going to go after your advertising revenue.

Lets face it, we as average posters have no idea about the politic's that go on behind the scenes. There is obviously a lot more to this story than we will ever be privy too.
I'm really not taking sides here. I honestly liked all the people involved in the day to day Rx business. As I said early on in this drama, I think there is plenty of room for more constructive offshore forums in this industry. It looks like Ken is creating a mirror type of Rx set up with his new place and it unfortunately will also be including a bunch of touts. Ken's got plenty of connections and plenty of cash but that dosen't equate into instant success anymore. I think it's going to take a lot more than the combo of Best and Shrink to be successful.

General put a hell of a lot of time & effort into this place, and helped people resolve a lot of disputes. He was very good at what he did, and he will be very good at it in the future.
Given that, we still have a very competent & capable staff here who is ready and willing to represent you if you think that you are being wronged by a book-advertiser or not. It doesn't matter-we are here to help.

General and Shrink have never done me wrong , ever ,but I do not get into these drama threads much, I do not have the stomach for it.
