if he can stay out of trouble, he should go the full 7 innings. Then its The Pen. Timlin in the 8th and Williamson in the 9th. With Embree available for a tuff lefty. The key is Pedro getting through the 7th with no damage. imo.

this is biased commentary but, PEDRO throws 95mph in the AB to sorriano! that is such genious I cant even believe I saw it. we never saw that from him the entire season but in the 7th inn of game 7 ALCS he reaches back for it and it sets up sorriano for the inning ending K. I've just never seen that type of briliance. brilliant becuase he didnt use it before simply trying to stay healthy for a playoff run and thru 7 it just seems so damn genious.

I know this sounds crazy, but you HAVE to PH a left, probably Sierra, for Soriano. They may not have another chance to score & it was no surprise that Soriano would K on a slider out of the zone.

He's an average player against good pitching.
