Think it was exploit who posted a great article early in the season.In the modern day salary cap, I think since 92.No QBs team has won the superbowl that had 13% of the teams salary cap or more.From memory the only QBs in the playoffs in thet category are Mahomes and Cousins.Think highest % was when Brady won it a couple years ago at 12.5% if memory serves me.Cousins and Vikes in my opinion No chance to win SB, Mahomes could because he is that good, but I don t think KC will, because they probably have not had enough $$$ to spend on D and it shows, they just are not that great on that side of the ball.

Having said that, there are some awful debilitating QB contracts in the NFL. As in franchise-crushing.
The Chiefs set a new bar with Mahomes, and it's been one crazy signing after another ever since.
Lamar Jackson will be the next one. Whichever team signs Lamar for 70m (or whatever) is completely out of their minds! Putting aside the fact I don't think Lamar is a "franchise QB"...
Who can really blame him? Lamar will say, "well, look what they're paying stiffs like Russell Wilson and Kyle Murray....so what am I worth?"
For once, I would like an owner to level with these guys and say:
"We love you! We want you here in our community and as a cornerstone of our franchise for the next decade. You will become very rich and we will surround you with many great players...but we're not paying you xxx...because Denver doesn't know how to build a team"
All they care about is $$$. Tom Brady being a very rare exception, and he has the rings to prove it! He's the GOAT for many reasons, chief among them being a true leader and team player.

I didn't follow the whole thing because i didn't really care.
Basically he asked for whatever at the end and the woman agreed because she didn't want to lose him and those tips as a client.(i could be wrong here because as stated i didn't follow it closely)
