When you think about it...Why in this day and age is there not another sport invented

Because who the hell wants to watch a game that could last for days and takes tea breaks.

I'd rather watch a game that has a tea break and a lunch break than all american sports that have commercial breaks every 30 secs.

But more importantly cricket is a tactically more complex game than baseball and has more variables - pitch, types of bowler, angles of delivery, fielding position changes and most importantly the fielders apart from the wicketkeeper don't wear gloves to help them catch a ball!

I'll be honest with you, i've never watched a game of cricket but from what i've read about it, I don't think my attention span is long enough for it.

I guess many of you haven't heard of cricket, whether you like baseball or cricket or not, the 2 sports have alot in common that some people in this thread don't seem to appreciate.

More perfect sport than baseball? Rugby.

It's not like baseball and nascar don't take long attention spans

Soccer seems the world-wide sport of choice.

Jai-alai is a great action game, but only popular in certain areas like Spain,Mexico,Florida, France, and a few other places.

Rugby? 3 hours isn't a long attention span. An entire day or more is a long attention span. Nascar isn't the most exciting sport to watch on tv but in person it is impressive.
