I made the same comparison to muskets Steve Kerr did and Joe did his usual mocking. So I agree with Kerr and Joe agrees with Acebb. I like my side better.

Founding fathers could never envision what this country has become in terms of guns. Go re-read my post #10, then tell me why you think the founding fathers included the second amendment. What purpose do you think they felt it would serve?

I really could care less about banning the AR-15, nuts are going to kill, I would like the laws to be more strict on who can easily obtain them. For instance for me a
Guy like Tavarais Jackson should lose his right to own gun legally after what he did.

Why don't you know that if Jackson is convicted of a crime, he won't be able to legally own a firearm? Why are you calling for the implementation of laws already in place?

Um, general, you may want to think about the fact that the US military tops out at ~1.1 million troops, and roughly 1/3rd of those are in no way trained for sweeping a city and "mowing down" citizens.
